Three C’s Studs Up Formula

Confidence + Consistency = Competence

At Studs Up our training philosophy revolves around high-intensity group training which simulates in-game scenarios. Focusing on the individual needs of each player, we center our attention on 4 key pillars: technical, tactical, physical and mentality training. In addition to the emphasis on training intensity, we also focus on teaching correct techniques. Not only are we extremely dedicated to helping players improve on the field but we also take pride in creating a safe and enjoyable training environment for all.

At the core of our training philosophy is the 3 C’s Studs Up Formula. To become an elite player and achieve maximal competence we focus our attention on 2 key factors. Firstly, we focus on developing player confidence and self belief via our training methodology and training environment. Secondly, we commit to tirelessly working with players long term because we understand that consistent high-intensity training is the only way to ensure player development. This consistent work over an extended period of time, combined with a confident mindset allows players to break far beyond their perceived potential.

“Teo is one of the best technical coaches I know who dedicates everything to his craft. Our sessions during the off-season centered around the Studs Up training philosophy have helped me have the best season of my career. I couldn't speak more highly of his services and recommend them to any soccer player serious about taking their game to the next level."

"Carleton is one of best university teams in Canada, so the competition for playing time is always fierce. I knew that I had to significantly improve if I wanted to become a starter on the team. I decided to train at Studs Up because I was sick and tired of being on the bench and not getting playing time.

Teo designed a detailed training plan that was specifically tailored to my strengths and weaknesses as a player. Every day of training was intense - he always held me accountable and pushed me beyond my limits.

After training with Teo during the summer, I went into my last season at Carleton feeling prepared and confident. The results were unmistakeable -  I finally became a starter, and I played in 13 out of 14 games that season.

Any player who is committed to improving and achieving their goals should definitely train with Teo. If you’re willing to put in the work, he will get you the results."

“Working with Teo has been great. He's able to work on the general standard necessary for better performance as well as position specific fine tuning. With a bunch of creative drills, the training sessions always feel new and never lack the intensity required to match in game scenarios. He'll make sure you work hard in order to get better, all while maintaining the fun of soccer."

"My son was keen to improve his soccer skills, including ball control, shooting, and first touch. A friend suggested to contact Teo to join his Studs Up training program and I can say it worked out great for us. I noticed a marked improvement in my son's confidence and performance on the pitch. Teo is a great instructor, possessed not only with soccer know-how but also with the ability to engage young athletes. Teo has also dropped in during league games to see my son in an actual match setting. This further speaks to Teo's commitment towards his student athletes. I recommend Teo to anyone who is looking for some extra soccer training without reservations.”

"Teo is one of the best trainers. He is very welcoming and friendly. After an hour of practice with him you will be exhausted but at the same time extremely happy with yourself and the work you have done. Teo will select the training drills he knows are best for you and is always open to anything you ask him. I would highly recommend Teo and his Studs Up training progam if soccer is your passion."

“I've trained with Teo for many years, all throughout high school and university off-seasons. Whether it was early mornings or evenings, the sessions were always intense and very technical. Teo also managed to create an enjoyable  atmosphere while also ensuring players remained 100% focused on the training. This balance was key in order to help me get through the more physically demanding sessions."
